Thank You, CLEBC Volunteers

Every year, hundreds of our colleagues generously give their time and expertise as CLEBC volunteers. Each of them plays an important role in helping us meet the continuing professional development needs of lawyers and support staff throughout the province - a mandate we take very seriously!

This year, we are pleased to honour 1,154 CLEBC volunteers - individuals who served as coordinators or faculty for our courses, on editorial boards or as authors of books, as county coordinators, or as members of our board of directors. Every volunteer is essential to the success of CLEBC. By offering the most current legal and practice information to lawyers and their support staff, we endeavour to provide the profession with the knowledge and skills required to maintain the highest standards of practice and professional service to clients.

CLEBC volunteers make significant personal and professional sacrifices to help us serve the needs of the profession. They are driven by a strong desire to maintain and continually improve the standards of practice of BC lawyers and are pleased to be able to make this contribution to their colleagues. We hope that your participation in CLEBC courses and your use of CLEBC publications will help you appreciate the contribution of our volunteers and the valuable service they provide to the profession.

You will no doubt recognize many of the names on this list as colleagues and friends. Please take the time to thank them personally for their generous contribution and for helping us to improve the standard of continuing legal education offered in BC. It is among the best anywhere in the world!
