LSBC appoints Deborah Armour new Chief Legal Officer

Deborah Armour will start April 8, 2010 as the Law Society of BC’s Chief Legal Officer. Armour has been Director of Legal and Compliance Services for Powerex Corporation, and prior to that was Senior Vice President of Raymond James Ltd. and General Counsel of the Vancouver Stock Exchange. Armour has more than 20 years of legal experience and has served as a volunteer on the Law Society’s audit committee.
