Court of Appeal affirms Wills Variation Act decision (case digest)

In Saugestad v. Saugestad, 2008 BCCA 38, the Court of Appeal considers and approves a hypothetical calculation and notional division of family assets made by the trial judge. The appeal was allowed only to the extent that the plaintiff was awarded an absolute (rather than life) interest in an investment property co-owned with the deceased husband.
