Join us to learn about technology issues that arise in contracts. At this course you will learn...
- practical tips and strategies for drafting, negotiating, and settling agreements that deal with IP and/or technology matters, including Purchase & Sale provisions, Confidentiality provisions, Service Level provisions, and others (whether as stand-alone contracts or part of other commercial contracts)
- typical contract clauses pertaining to IP, technology, and cloud computing, including indemnities, limitations of liability, representations and warranties, and licenses
- common positions that lawyers take with respect to IP and technology issues and the rationale behind those positions
- how to handle business continuity issues when dealing with your client’s or the other party’s technology
This is the 2nd course in the Business & Technology series, a 5-part CLE-TV series on legislative updates and how they affect your client’s business, common technology, intellectual property and privacy issues that business lawyers face, and best practices for managing information in this digital age for both your clients and your own practice.
