Supporting meetings can be a demanding, complex, and stressful job. It starts with preparing agendas, scripts, reports, and resolutions, continues with logistical details, ends with producing concise minutes, and then it starts over again with the next meeting. This workshop will provide administrative staff with tools and ideas to work smart (not hard) and effectively support successful meetings.
After this workshop you will...
-
understand better how meetings work and your roles in their success
-
be better able to work with demanding board members and chairs
-
provide solid support for your chair and members via good agendas, scripts, and resolutions
-
take minutes with confidence and ease (work smart, not hard)
