Along with causation and liability, the assessment of damages or quantum is one of the central aspects of all personal injury files. This course is a comprehensive review of the essential elements and building blocks of personal injury files damage assessment—from what must be reviewed, to how medical and accounting evidence is to be marshalled to arrive at that critical dollar value which constitutes the quantum assessment of an injury. Junior lawyers will find this course a comprehensive review of what they need to know, and experienced counsel will benefit from a helpful review which may fill in some gaps in knowledge.
