Who should attend: Recent graduates of paralegal training programs, and new legal administrative assistants; the course will also appeal to those who have been in the office environment but want to up their game.

Learning level: Fundamental

This is the 3rd course in the five-part Paralegal Core Competency Series, intended to provide a foundation for a successful transition into the workplace.

At this program, you will learn how to conduct yourself in the office, at meetings, and at social events from 
Margaret Page, an expert on business etiquette. 

Covering faux pas, such as wet handshakes and talking too much, and highlighting the best ways to make introductions and start conversations, this program will provide you with a lively introduction to good manners in an office environment while helping you develop your networking skills.

Rebroadcasts: All five courses in the series will be rebroadcast on Wednesday, July 27 during the "CLE Summer Series". Those who register for the series may attend any or all of the rebroadcasts for FREE, giving you two opportunities to attend each course. Please contact Customer Service to confirm your spot.

Law Society of BC CPD Hours: 1.5 hours
This course will NOT involve aspects of professional responsibility and ethics, client care and relations, and/or practice management. NOTE: If you attend both the original live course AND the rebroadcast, you may claim credit for ONLY ONE of them.
