Who should attend: Recent graduates of paralegal training programs, and new legal administrative assistants; the course will also appeal to those who have been in the office environment but want to up their game.

This five-part series is intended to provide a foundation for a successful transition into the workplace. The courses in the Paralegal Core Competency Series are:
- Wednesday, May 18, 2016: Basic Legal Office Skills
- Wednesday, May 25, 2016: Interviewing & Communicating with Clients
- Wednesday, June 1, 2016: Professionalism
- Thursday, June 9, 2016: Drafting Skills
- Tuesday, June 21, 2016: Dealing with Difficult People
Join us for all five courses in the series and receive a discount, or choose the individual courses that make most sense for you.
Rebroadcasts: All five courses in the series will be rebroadcasted Tuesday, July 26 through Wednesday, July 27 during the "CLE Summer Series". Those who register for the series may attend any or all of the rebroadcasts for FREE, giving you two opportunities to attend each course. Please contact Customer Service to confirm your spot.
Law Society of BC CPD Hours: 1.5 hours per course; 7.5 hours for the series of five.
This series of five courses will NOT involve aspects of professional responsibility and ethics, client care and relations, and/or practice management. NOTE: If you attend both the original live course AND a rebroadcast, you may claim credit for ONLY ONE of them.
