Who should attend: This is an advanced legal course for public and private deal lawyers who have experience in mergers and acquisitions.

At this conference, CLEBC gathers the leading minds of the Vancouver mergers and acquisitions community together to discuss the topics and issues of most concern to the BC Bar. This advanced legal course will allow those with experience in mergers and acquisitions to discuss the key issues, strategies, and practices, while garnering Law Society CPD credits.

At this course you will:

  • catch up on the current state of the M&A market
  • review private and public deals and regulatory decisions
  • learn about “hybrid” private/public transactions
  • understand federal regulatory issues arising in relation to competition and foreign investment reviews for proposed mergers

Law Society of BC CPD Hours: 6 hours (a minimum of 1 hour will involve aspects of professional responsibility and ethics, client care and relations, and/or practice management)
