The new legislation comes into force on September 1, 2011—will you be ready?
The Provincial Government has decided to bring into force portions of the Adult Guardianship and Planning Statutes Amendment Act, 2007 (Bill 29) as amended relating to the Power of Attorney Act, the Representation Agreement Act, advance medical directives, health care consent, and other matters. These reforms create a suite of three incapacity planning documents: enduring powers of attorney, representation agreements, and advance directives. Come and learn the changes so that you are ready when this comes into force on September 1, 2011. We will also take a deeper look at issues of incapacity, including the tests and the new challenges that lawyers and health care professionals face on a daily basis.
Just in time learning!
Online Rebroadcast: The original course will be rebroadcast 3 times online, on August 29, 30, and 31, just in time before the legislation comes into force. These online courses provide you with the opportunity for live interaction. You participate from your home or office. See below for session information.
