Enter the murky world of insurance law with our team of expert guides!
This year’s conference is an opportunity for litigators and others to explore the depths of the murky world of insurance law. This program will provide basic insurance law knowledge to all lawyers, and will benefit all who are the insurance industry or deal with the insurance industry. As with past conferences, the program will cover important case developments, critical practice issues, and notable industry trends. The course will address some of the foundational topics of insurance law. For example, anyone litigating cases will be aware Rule 7-1(3) requires an insurance policy to be produced: do you know what you are producing?; do you know how to interpret what you are given?; do you know how to read and interpret a policy of insurance?; what has the Supreme Court of Canada had to say recently? These and other matters surrounding insurance law policies will be addressed in this year’s comprehensive one-day conference, a must attend event for plaintiff and defence counsel who want to stay on top of developments in insurance law.
