Are you planning to become a mediator, or to add valuable skills to your existing litigation tool kit? Dispute resolution skills will enhance your value to your clients. This two-day course provides you with the entry level training for general civil mediation. You will become familiar with the basics of mediation in a coached, practical setting. The course is a permitted prerequisite for Advanced Civil Mediation, and has been approved as mediation training requirements of the MediateBC Society.
This course is approved by the British Columbia Arbitration and Mediation Institute. On completion of both Fundamentals of Mediation and Advanced Civil Mediation, you will receive a "Certificate of Attendance".
Law Society of BC CPD Hours: 16 hours (a minimum of 2 hours will involve aspects of professional responsibility and ethics, client care and relations, and/or practice management)
