This conference is CLEBC’s annual event for insurance counsel and their insurance industry counterparts. As with past conferences, the program will cover important case developments, critical practice issues, and notable industry trends.  And as in previous years, the program will feature valuable practice tips for the conduct and management of insurance files. This conference is a must-attend event for plaintiff and defence counsel and insurance industry professionals who want to stay on top of developments in insurance law.

At this course you will learn about...

  • important developments in insurance case law
  • high level practice skills relating to professionalism in insurance litigation
  • substantive insurance topics: bad faith litigation, construction insurance, liability for acts of children, UMP claims, additional insured, extrinsic evidence, and allocation of insurance monies

Law Society of BC CPD Hours: 6 hours (a minimum of 1 hour will involve aspects of professional responsibility and ethics, client care and relations, and/or practice management)
