These programs provide CPD credit for working on your own, at your own pace.

This Self-Paced eLearning course is beneficial for: Family lawyers and others interested in effectively screening clients for family violence.

Section 8 of the Family Law Act requires lawyers to screen their clients for family violence. This course will help you prepare to meet that requirement. As a result of taking this course, you will become familiar with the basics of screening and you will learn how to ask the difficult questions. The course will also provide you with tactics for what to do if violence is disclosed, and will help you to more effectively conduct a case where there is family violence.
