About the author
Holly Brinton is Associate Counsel with Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP, Vancouver. She received her Bachelor of Laws from the University of BC and was a law clerk at the BC Court of Appeal before articling at a predecessor firm of Fasken Martineau. She was called to the BC Bar in 1986. Holly conducts and supervises legal research and prepares opinions and arguments, with particular emphasis on appeals to the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court of Canada.
