In the world of business, many arrangements are contractual, and in many cases the parties have agreed to resolve disputes through commercial arbitration. When a dispute arises, what is counsel to do? The arbitration process has similarities to litigation but it also has significant differences. The challenge for counsel is to be mindful of, and to take advantage of, the differences between arbitration and court litigation. This book examines the commercial arbitration process with a view to strengthening the skills of counsel who are taking a dispute through the process.
