LU’MA NATIVE HOUSING SOCIETY AND SWAHILI VISION INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION operate a 96-unit residential building in New Westminster to provide safe, affordable housing for Indigenous and Black Elders and families.
PROCLAIMING OUR ROOTS is a project “aimed at honoring the histories, realities, stories and experiences of people who are of African diasporic and Indigenous ancestry, and who reside on Turtle Island.”
THE BLACK AND INDIGENOUS SOLIDARITY PROGRAM (BIS) of Indigenous Youth Roots (IYR), a national, Indigenous, youth-led organization, will take place in Toronto from the last week of March to the first week of May 2025.
