Employment Law Conference 2019: Call for Papers
25
Oct

The call for papers is now closed. Please save the dates to join us on November 29-30, 2018!

We are pleased to chair CLEBC’s annual Employment Law Conference on  May 2 & 3, 2019. This annual event provides a comprehensive update on the trends, issues and changes that are taking place in this interesting and developing area of practice.

We invite lawyers, academics, the judiciary, human resources practitioners, and all other professionals interested in this area to provide us with a brief outline of papers and presentations that you would like to propose for a spot on the agenda. As with past years, we expect most of the conference topics to come from your submissions.

Please take a moment to review the agendas from 2017 and 2018 for an idea on what topics have been covered recently. We do our best to have different topics every year, unless there have been significant developments or changes in the area.

Please send your submissions and/or any questions you have via e-mail to Genevieve Chang at gchang@cle.bc.ca with the following information:

  • Your name and organization;
  • Proposed topic; and
  • ½ to 1 page outline of your proposed paper and presentation;

All submissions received by Friday, November 23, 2018 will be reviewed and considered by the Conference Chairs and Planning Committee.

We look forward to receiving your ideas and to seeing you at next year’s Employment Law Conference. Please save the dates!

Yours truly,
Matthew Cooperwilliams, Harris & Company LLP, and
