Employment Law Conference 2021: Call for Papers
27
Oct

CLEBC is proud to present our Employment Law Conference which is slated for May 6 & 7, 2021. Given the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in shifting the 2020 conference to the fall, the format of next year’s spring conference remains to be determined.

That said, CLEBC is certain that you will not want to miss the program. As always, this annual event will provide you with a comprehensive update on the trends, issues, and changes that you need to know are taking place in this interesting and developing area of practice.

At this time we would like to invite lawyers, academics, the judiciary, human resources practitioners, and all other professionals interested in this area to provide us with a brief outline of papers and presentations that you would like to propose for a spot on the agenda.  As with past years, we expect most of the conference topics to come from your submissions.

Please take a moment to review the agendas from 20182019, and 2020 for an idea on what topics have been covered recently. We do our best to have different topics every year, unless there have been significant developments or changes in the area.

Please send your proposals via e-mail to: Raymond Lee, Program Lawyer at raymondl@cle.bc.ca with the following information:

  • Your name and organization;
  • Proposed topic title; and
  • ½ to 1 page outline of your proposed paper and presentation.

All submissions received by Monday, January 4, 2021 will be reviewed and considered by the Conference Chairs and Planning Committee.

Thank you for your continued support of the Continuing Legal Education Society of BC. We look forward to receiving your ideas and to seeing you at next year’s Employment Law Conference. Please save the dates!

Yours truly,
Raymond Lee*
