CLEBC is proud to present the Employment Law Conference 2026 on May 7 and 8. This annual event delivers a comprehensive update on the latest trends, issues, and developments in this dynamic and evolving area of practice.

As in past years, we expect that most of the conference agenda will be drawn directly from your submissions.

To assist you in developing your ideas, please review the 2024 and 2025 agendas for an overview of recently covered topics. We aim to introduce fresh perspectives each year, while also revisiting areas where significant legal or practical developments have occurred.

CLEBC is committed to building a faculty that reflects the diversity of the legal community and the clients it serves. We encourage submissions from individuals of all backgrounds, as well as joint proposals that bring multiple viewpoints to the discussion.

Please send your proposals in Word format via email to: Nav Shukla, Program Lawyer, at nshukla@cle.bc.ca with the following information:

  • your name and organization;
  • proposed topic title; and
  • ½- to 1-page outline of your proposed paper and presentation.

All submissions received by Monday, November 17, will be reviewed and considered by the Conference Chairs and Planning Committee.

Thank you for your continued support of the Continuing Legal Education Society of BC. We look forward to receiving your ideas and to seeing you at next year’s Employment Law Conference. Please save the dates!

Sincerely,

Nav Shukla
