THE CANADIAN INDIGENOUS MEDIA INDEX (CIMI) IS AN OPEN-ACCESS DATABASE of past and present Canadian-based Indigenous media.

Podcasts, digital storytelling projects, newspapers and newsletters, radio, and television past and present are indexed in this collection of 179 items. Each entry provides a description, a URL, and information in many more data fields.

The database is created and managed by Sathya Rao, Associate Professor in the University of Alberta’s Department of Modern Languages & Cultural Studies, as part of the Canadian Minority Media Database.
