CLEBC CONTRIBUTOR JEAN TEILLET HAS BEEN APPOINTED by Prime Minister Trudeau to the eight-person Advisory Board for Supreme Court of Canada Judicial Appointments.
This process is to fill the ninth position on the Supreme Court of Canada. The independent board performs numerous screening, interviewing, and testing of applicants before it provides an unranked shortlist, from which the PM nominates a candidate for the next appointee to the highest bench.
