V’NI DANSI, a Vancouver-based dance company dedicated to sharing and celebrating Métis culture, will livestream an event of traditional and contemporary dance, song, and fiddle music, on Sunday, November 15, along with other artists, in anticipation of Louis Riel Day on Monday.
Among others, schoolchildren in British Columbia learn about Louis Riel and the meaning of this day.
Canada observes two different Louis Riel days in the calendar year: November 16 and the third Monday of February.
